A Day at The Big Red Barn

What a Beautiful day it was on Sunday!! Where better to spend it than on the Farm. Deanna Rose Farm that is....

My Mom and Dad took me and the kiddos on a little adventure and boy did we all have some fun :)

I felt like a kid again!!! Aaahhhhh...how wonderful would that be......

I was glad to find that my littlest one {Kenzie Girl} was an extreme lover of animals! She does belong to this family :) We love ANIMALS!!

First stop~Gold Rush

We started the excursion with a little MINING...How fun was that!!! I think mommy was more excited to find the pretty little treasures{rocks} than Lucian,LOL! Little miss Kenzie, well...she did a little watching and slapping at the water.

Next stop {my all time fave} Baby GOATS

We played and played with these little Billy's! Kenzie smothered them as much as they smothered us! LOl...So funny how she just talked and giggled, hugged them and Loved those little baby Billy's.....

Lucian was a little concerned as usual but he had fun carefully petting the goats and studying their every move...The goats really are adorable and squirrelly little creatures and those little faces make a person just wanna say AWE.....

Moving Along...many stops and then some fishing.....

So basically Kenzie Girl fell in love with the calf and lucian with the bird species! Oh how she loved to pet the baby moo~cow...And Lucian says,"Mommy we can have one of these",speaking of this beautiful little white chicken :)My reply, Yes honey we will maybe next summer! What he doesn't know is that Daddy and I have already had this discussion and it has been pre-approved by the Boss Man:)

Lucian and Grandma{fisherlady} had a good ol time catching professional fish! Well trained little fish in the art of de-worming a hook! Well, a hook with only 1 prong...safety first little ones!

Last stop...Mommy will be right back!

Near the end of our little adventure I spotted a flower garden and I was off.....Spent the whole day taking photos manually and this was the best! It's amazing how I control how this flower will turn out in my picture and of course the goal is to capture the realistic view of the subject. I feel that was achieved....Sometimes the images are so vibrant they look enhanced by photo shop!

My Love For FELT

I LOVE FELT.....


So....If you know me by now, you know that I love all things FELT!!


I am on a BOW kick for my new Accessories collection and of course I just had to make some felt bows....What do you think?? I think I am in LOVE :)

So....I will be making these in clips and headbands!!! Love Love Loving...what can I say, I am obsessed.......

My little man (Lucian) and I decided to enjoy the back yard one day while little miss Kenzie was napping.......

Can I play in the sandbox mommy?  Of course you can baby, mommy is finishing some downloads and I will be right out! 

I have been practicing my old ways of photography like I first learned with my mothers 35mm Pentax ~ Manual
Love the way technology has changed since then and how my Cannon shows me instant results!! So anyways....I just realized that this is the way I will shoot when possible because of the raw beauty.........

The Monarch Queen.....Isn't she BEAUTIFUL....
I know she is a Monarch and not a Viceroy or an Admiral, OR a Male.....If I am wrong please let me know!! But anyways, I learned a few amazing facts about this Beautiful little insect....who was just passing Time in my garden........
~Poisonous to predators
~She is a 3rd Generation Butterfly!!!

~Butterflies go through four generations in one year... 

~The first 3 generations live 2 to 6 weeks then die

~The 4th generation is born in September and October and will migrate to warmer climates and live 6-8 months....

~Then cycle will start all over~

Photo Shoot

Who ever said that work couldn't be fun????
This past sunday VB shot photos of the new Fall Headband Collection for the LADIES....


Who better to take these photos than my BFF Heidi and Myself???

We had a BLAST...Listened to Adele on the MacBook,wardrobe change often, headband after headband, and a whole lotta laughs:) Who needs to hire a professional photographer?? Not VB!!!

My BFF and I go way back...High School to be exact! Over the past year we have grown really close and I am thankful for our friendship. She is as goofy as me,{which is hard to find} and we have a million {+} 1 things in common,and well there ya go! I am thankful God has given me a friend that is genuinely sweet and caring for all others! Our hubbies are actually friends since high school and that makes for some fun get togethers!! Small world?? Maybe just a small town,LOL:)

So headbands are one of my favorite accessories to create...make...wear....
For the Fall collection I have decided to do a throw back and use the wide knit band from the 80's, yeah you know the one LOL!! Combine that comfy headband with some new techniques and voila a great piece to every ones collection!

My newest LOVE~ly creation is BOWS...BOWS...BOWS

And of course I just had to incorporate my obsession with felt into this category and I am IN LOVE....

All my traditional felt accessories will still hang around because everyone just loves them, including myself:) I am happy to announce a new size in the felt ROSES we love so much,they will be available in 3 sizes! YAY!!!!! How great is that?

This is the X-Large Rose and Large Rose....The mini roses are..well, for the littles!
So this isn't it....and everything will have color options {A MUST} I love providing something for everyone, otherwise it just wouldn't be fun,right?
